CHICAGO , November 30, 2011- The holiday season is officially here. So are all the invitations to holiday parties. Companies, organizations, friends, relatives, venues, and other entities all have their big blow out parties during the Christmas through New Years season.

Usually food is abundant and booze flows like swollen rivers. Being an avarice eater, I will not be a hypocrite and give advice on healthy eating at holiday parties. There is no such thing, as far as I am concerned.

However, I can offer some expertise in the drinking aspects of holiday partying. Holiday parties bring out the drunk and fool in many of us. God used to take care of drunks and fools. Having qualified on both counts, I always relied on the big guy to look after me.

But, he seems to have taken the holidays off over the past few years.

With that in mind, I will offer my professional advice on the art of imbibing adult beverages and surviving holiday cheer.
